Mardi Gras is starting soon. An old-world mainstay updated for the new-world party-lover, it’s a time of indulgence and celebration. People throughout Europe celebrated its week-long predecessor, Carnivale, to blow off steam and indulge in life’s naughtier side before the Lenten season. After Ash Wednesday, it’s nothing but sobriety, propriety, and fasting, so you might as well get 40 days-worth of bad behavior out of your system.
We’re not going to tell you how to indulge for Mardi Gras, though we do happen to think that you can never go wrong indulging your love for relaxation on a Contempo Sofa. Made from 100% Italian Leather, smooth and comfy, it’s a devilishly good way to end a long day of hard work and toil. And you don’t have to give it up for lent.

Mardi Gras is a celebration and I do not think we ulsohd argue over who is best. The first Mardi Gras celebration was held in Mobile, AL, but who cares where it started, it is a beautiful event and it will carry on. I love both Mardi Gras Celebrations. I am from Mobile, AL and I will say last year’s Mardi Gras was the best New Orleans and Mobile represented for the Katrina victims and I glad I got to experience that. Who cares which one is best, they are both Great!! Looking forward to next year.
